Q104 Radiothon

Today one of my favorite dogs was adopted:( It was sad but its also good because she can live with people that will love her in a good home. So other than that my day consisted of walking three dogs and when that was finished i went and visited the cats. Cats need socializing too, they sit in their small kennels all day sleeping, they need something entertaining. After i visited the cats i helped make decorations for next week on friday. At the APL on friday there is going to be a Q104 radiothon, and there will be a lot of people and things set up everywhere and its a huge deal so im going to help decorate for it. The decorations are musical themed because its Q104 so we have records to hang from the ceiling and musical notes to put on the walls. I already know that i am going to be a big role for that friday because three people came up to me and informed me that they could really use my help in setting up, running, and decorating for this event. It seems like its going to be a lot of fun and one person said that there will be a food room and i'm allowed in it! Yessss, not that i wanna help for just that reason. I wanna help them with this because this is very important to get donations for the services the animals need and for the vets and other people that need to be paid. The APL is reliant only on donations so this is a big event for everyone there. They usually don't get very big donations from people(with a couple exceptions) but they have a lot of donors. And not only from Ohio too. I helped out one day by folding letters to send to the donors as a thank you which included a promotion for their calendars and i saw a good amount of donors were from out of state. It was surprising to me that these people wouldn't donate to a humane society near them...or maybe they do and they feel they need to help out more. Who knows, all that matters is that the Cleveland APL gets enough money to keep helping the animals.
